Welcome to the Sound Of Hope Radio network, my name is Daniel Teng and in this program we will be covering an evening show by the Divine Performing Arts at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale on Friday the 20th of December.

The three companies which make up the Divine Performing Arts have, as of the 22nd, completed performances in Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, and Philadelphia. Attending an evening show at Fort Lauderdale was Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart who represents Florida’s 21st Congressional District.

The Divine Performing Arts was created for the purpose of reviving and sharing 5000 years of China’s traditional culture. The performances not only showcase the beauty and grandeur of ancient China, they also capture the morality and virtue which governed the hearts of ancient Chinese people.

Congressman Diaz expressed appreciation for the show’s overall beauty and aesthetics, as well as the moral message it carries, that truth is eternal. Many performers of the DPA are practitioners of the spiritual discipline Falun Gong, which follow the tenets of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

Sadly, with the advent of Communism and its atheist beliefs, the values and beauty of traditional China were lost. Congressman Diaz also had something to say about this.

The Divine Performing Arts troupe has continued on from Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta and Philadelphia to Sarasota, Houston and Cincinnati. They’ll be performing at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the Jesse H. Jones Hall and the Cincinnati Music Hall respectively.
