The main character in this story is a woman Falun Gong practitioner who began practicing in July, 1999. From her appearance, the way she walks, works, speaks, and moves, strangers would think that she is in her sixties. In fact, she is almost ninety years old. Compared to what she was like before she started practicing Falun Gong, this woman indeed is a completely different person.

Before she began to practice Falun Gong, her vision was poor. She had a cataract in one eye. She was hard of hearing in both ears, too. Her feet had been bound when she was a child, so it was difficult for her to walk. There were many parts of her body that she could not move freely. She had no strength to do anything. She was also quite gloomy.

After she began to practice Falun Gong, she came to understand many things that had puzzled her for her whole life. She had much joy in her heart. As she studied the Fa and did the exercises more, her body and mind improved significantly. She no longer haggled with people for anything, and she was content every day. Her body became stronger and stronger day after day.

She now sees and hears clearly, walks steadily and nimbly. She looks like that she has strength that she can never use up, and she never feels tired from work. Now when she carries two buckets of water weighing about 50 kilograms and walks on foot from a mountain to her home, she doesn&9t need to take a break on the way. With a pair of tiny feet, and such heavy buckets on her shoulder, she still moves easily. The villagers all say: "This woman is super!" Her son said to her: "Mom, you are almost ninety years old and you cannot carry water any more. If you carry water again, people will call me an uncaring son." She replied "My son, I don&9t feel tired. Otherwise, I would not have carried water." When other people talked about her, her son would give a thumbs up and say: "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness- Benevolence-Forbearance is good! Falun Dafa&9s Teacher is good!"

One thing that happened to this elderly woman put people in awe. She originally had cataracts in one eye. It became much better after she obtained the Fa, but this cataract did not completely disappear. Last summer, it enlarged and thickened. In about ten days, the white matter completely covered the pupil and the eye became blind. The elderly woman went to her daughter&9s home and told her daughter: "I need to have a surgery." Her daughter said to her: "Mom, you are a practitioner, why do you still need surgery?" The elderly woman suddenly understood and said: "Yes, I&9m a practitioner and I don&9t need surgery. My brain was muddled."

After getting back from her daughter&9s home, the elderly woman had been cutting grass in the field everyday, and she did not think much about the cataract.
